Being often suffocated by a big city habitat may lead one to experience nostalgic feelings towards nature, a desire to be immersed in a secluded, relaxing, cozy environment. Paul Couldamy, a French architect, observed this common desire and decided to bring "nature" indoors with his constructed "bear cave."
A room covered with recycled wood chips and corrugated cardboard, adding layers to the wall to create any desired, organic interior shape. The chips remain their natural brown color to emphasize not only the environmental benefits of the architecture, but biomimic design introduced into the space!
