Fresh Finds: MOMA Features Plywood - a Plethora of Possibilities

This vintage 1956 butterfly stool by designer Sori Yanagi is made from metal and molded plywood.  Yes, you read right, plywood!!

Hats off to the MOMA exhibit Plywood: Materials, Process, Form  I always thought of plywood without much regard but this exhibit has opened my eyes to all of the possibility plywood possesses.  The exhibit opened this past February and runs until February 2012, plenty of time not to miss it!
