Pop Art That POPS
How much does this image POP? It is, of course, Christy Turlington in a photo by Patrick Demarchelier from British Vogue (2008). The image is timeless. The pose is almost Victorian and certainly regal.
We've been talking about pop art in our office and how, just like more traditional artwork, it can speak to every generation and be, well, timeless.
Of the moment, yet timeless. Like a Chanel jacket or a fine wine, good design ignores the calendar and is created for consumption and enjoyment.
