Front Room: Older Pieces Learn New Tricks

  

Here is a sneak peek at the residential home we've been working on.  Stay tuned for more after images from our photo shoot we featured earlier this month.

What makes this client extra special is that this is the fifth space that we've done with them.  In moving to her new home, she wanted to feature blue and white and reuse some of her favorite pieces. There are a lot of personal touches and pretty art that we featured.

We re-stained her furniture to a darker color to update the look.  By adding classic and updated lighting we bridged the design gap to bring older pieces to a new, fresh space.

She calls this the 'front room' - and freely admits that it's a great place for her to relax with her pets at the end of the day.  Again, more to come, but for now I'd love to know:  how do you reuse favorite pieces in new ways?
