Beauty and Brunch at the Bellagio

On a recent trip to Las Vegas, I wanted to make sure I made my way over to the Bellagio.  I have heard so much about its beauty, I had to see it for myself.

In the lobby I was graced with the most extraordinary glass sculpture I had ever seen.  It is the chandelier Fiori di Como by glass sculptor Dale Chihuly.  It is a three-dimensional floral masterpiece that explodes with bright, rich colors and is lit from behind emitting a day glow that is just breathtaking.

Right next to the lobby is the Conservatory, which I learned changes with each of the four seasons and Chinese New Year.  The current theme is called "Claude Monet: Impressions of Light" and featured a floral rendition of Fisherman’s Cottage on the Cliffs at Varengeville (1879) along with aesthetics of his native Holland.

After a morning of being inspired, we headed off to brunch at Todd English's Olives and secured a table on the outdoor patio.  Much to our surprise and delight it was a front row seat to the Bellagio's famous fountain show!
