Bubbling Over at MIX

These pods are called "cocoons" 

MIX in Las Vegas is at the top of THEhotel at Mandalay Bay on the south end of the strip.  The restaurant side (there is also a nightclub side designed in all black) is designed in white, mint and silver with gold undertones.  It creates a calming sensation and the food is exceptional.  The main portion of the room is surrounded by a cascade of clear glass spheres backlit with a golden glow that give the feeling of being inside a bottle of Dom Perignon.
