DIY Eco: Transform old Christmas lights into adorable lanterns
We Stumbled Upon a great idea from Helen Morgan at Inhabitat and wanted to share it.
We usually buy the decor available in market for seasonal decoration. Like me, all of us want a different as well as a memorable decoration. Why not transform something we already have - like strings of lights - into something more. Here is a way to save some bucks and still create a unique design feature sure to WOW!
Helpful Hint: Make it a point not leave it unattended and don't leave for long. LEDs are good to cut down fire risks.

- First get a string of 20 lights (use LED lights if you are worried about this being a fire hazard) and 20 square pieces of paper (I used 8.5″ x 8.5″)
- Then fold 20 cube as shown.
- Poke each light into a paper cube. No glue necessary
- Hang, light and enjoy all the compliments you will get from your amazingly refreshing design!
