Contemporary Artist: Liliana Porter

I saw this sculpture and I knew I wanted to share it.  The Man With Axe by Liliana Porter piece was created on a wooden table top and really speaks to perception.

Liliana Porter was recently the featured artist at PINTA, The Modern and Contemporary Latin American Art Show where she displayed this piece.  I really enjoyed looking at some of her older pieces as well.  It goes to show that art comes in many shapes, sizes, colors and styles.  It can be heartfelt, humorous, or haunting, but most important is how it makes the owner feel.
