Designer's Best Pick: Richard Silver Photo

A client recently introduced me to a one of a kind artist and photographer. Born in Brooklyn, Richard Silver not only photographs in his local area but is a world traveler that employs techniques in his pieces such as Tilt Shift, HDR, Vertical Panoramas, and Time Slice to create works of art.

I am incorporating this piece of the Flat Iron building in a soon to be unveiled billiard room. It will mimic the shape found in the rack for the billiard table. Two previously installed pieces include shots of Grand Central Station and the South Street Seaport.

                   Silver has an extensive "Just NY" portofolio, expressing his roots and sharing his perspective.

My personal favorites are Richard's Vertical Church pieces, particularly the one shown of St. Anthony Padua Church in Istanbul, Turkey.
