Designer's Best Picks: Antique designs for all ages

Fleming & Howland furniture pieces are "out of this country". Based in the UK, Fleming & Howland is one of my favorite family businesses that produces beautiful classic Chesterfields furniture.

Antiqued hand-coloured leather is used with deep buttoning on this classic Hamilton sofa. Accents  of nail heads and wood bun legs are also used. Historic charm and noble elegance summarizes this piece perfectly.

Traditional elegance can be sweet and soft. This Child's sofa is fully upholstered with a deep buttoning back. The scale is important and would be in perfect proportion when put into a nursery. When paired with a toned down color palette, the sofa sets the tone for a luxurious young princess.
