Holiday Decorating - These Tables are Tops!

Holidays can be stressful. Decorations everywhere can be overwhelming. The tree is trimmed, stockings hung and candles lit, but what to do about the table tops?  With the rest of your home decked to the halls, leaving your table bare may threaten your "nice list" status.  What is the best solution?  Pull out all of those fancy dishes that you have tucked away all year and create a beautiful table setting display.  The added bonus is that you are ready for holiday dinner guests in a flash!

These are a few tables that we have designed.  We hope that these photos inspire you and take a bit of stress out of the holiday decorating - now you just have to add the holiday dinner!

Letting Color Set the Stage
Using seasonal colors in the linens and as accent pieces around candles and the center piece really give this tabletop design a holiday vibe.  Adding natural elements like the pine cones helps keep this elegant design down to earth.

A Design that Takes Shape
Keeping all of the dishes in the same general shape helps to create a clean design.  By using hard edged dishes, we can create a modern flare table design in a more traditional space.  Be sure to add pops of holiday color to create a modern seasonal design.

Eastern Influence
Taking our influence from Asian tableware, we mixed these clean, white square and round dishes with earthy bamboo mats.  The green linens keep the tone earthy and the beautiful floral center piece ties the entire table design together.  A light refreshing design never overstays its welcome!

Ready for Brunch
Formal dining tables shouldn't have ALL of the fun!  This breakfast nook area is ready for a fabulous holiday brunch and perfectly set for guests to easily enjoy!  Floral patterned dishes are delicate and perfectly tied with rustic placemats.  Using seasonal fruit as a centerpiece helps to anchor the design.

Classics Never Fail
This classic, elegant table design screams holiday family dinner.  The fireplace adds a warm touch and the gorgeous green center piece paired with red candles brings out the holiday spirit.

No matter how you celebrate this holiday season, take a few moments to pull out your collection of table linens, your mother's china and your grandmother's glassware - then put together a tablescape sure to amaze your guests!  Happy Holidays and Happy Designing!
