Making Green Luxurious

In honor of St. Patrick's Day and to celebrate a much needed upcoming Spring season, we have decided to share with you some of our favorite ways of using the color green.  What is wonderfully refreshing about this color is that no matter the shade, there is always a feeling of freshness and brightness to the space.

Heirloom Green
Playing off some of the family heirloom glass pieces which the client wanted to display, we created a space that included luxurious modern touches while still keeping with the traditional feel.

Whimsy Green
We love this wall color and fabric because it invokes a sense of whimsy within its sophisticated design.  The brightness of the green makes a statement on the accent walls and allows for pops of additional bright colors to offset it.

Triple Green
When you start a design with a green rug, green chairs and green walls, it may sound like you've lost your shamrocks, but this space makes it work beautifully.  The wood of the railing and the floor feel rustic against this modern dining set.  The glass and the metal play well together with the fabrics.

Welcoming Green
We love this shade of a darker, more natural green used in the fabrics on the bed and windows because it has such a warm and welcoming effect.  The luxurious sheen on the fabric helps to keep the room feeling light and airy.  A muted shade of green on parts of the wall and on the ceiling help to reinforce the calmness in this bedroom.

Treetop Green
When you have a few like this from a high floor, you can almost imagine the treetops as your accent rug.  Using the decadently patterned green fabric on the furniture and a variety of wood grains to reflect the natural elements outside is a great way to keep you grounded, even at the top.
